Daily Rituals and Morning Routines

Take a few minutes and imagine how difficult it would be to go to work every morning if you had to actively think about brushing your teeth, taking a shower, and getting dressed.

Just imagine if you had to think about how many brush strokes you would use on your teeth or how much shampoo you would squeeze out of the bottle.

It would be terrible.

However, many people do these things every morning without giving it a second thought.

Do you have any idea why?

People have morning routines, or, daily rituals. By the time you step out of your house, these daily rituals allow you to complete more than 10 tasks without using one ounce of active brainpower.

It is remarkable.

Now imagine if you could use this concept of daily rituals in other areas of your life. Just imagine how easy e-mail would be if you spend a few minutes in the morning making each e-mail into an action. Just imagine how easy it would be to keep your desk clean if you spend a few minutes before you leave work and clean it

Just imagine how simple this will all be when it becomes a daily ritual. You won’t even realize that you’re getting things done.

So now tell me, what are your daily rituals?

I never considered how much stuff I do in the morning. This article makes me want to plan my day a little more.

@Phox Yes. It’s unreal.

@Trevor Let me know if you implement this in any way.

@Keg And that’s the worst way to live.
