I agree completely. But knowing you need a business partner and actually being able to find the person who complements you — who has the skills you lack — is easier said than done.

It will depend on the type of business you are in. In my business in the tourism business in the Philippines, I really do not need a partner. Cheers!

I had a chance to meet one of the founders of Adobe who said the best advice he ever received was to learn how to fire himself. You need to figure out how to get work off your plate if you want to grow.
